• They are the two main antagonists in the movie Inazuma Eleven GO Kyuukyoku no Kizuna Gryphon. Also, they are teammates in Zero team, a soccer team from this movie.
• Hakuryuu simbolizes Light and Shuu simbolizes Shadow and if they unite, they become "the perfect combination".
• Hakuryuu grabs Shuu's hand in one scene.
• They have a Kenshin (Avatar) combination, Sei Kishi Arthur, made of the fussion of their individual kenshins (avatars) : Seijuu Shining Dragon (Hakuryuu) and Ankoku Shin Dark Exodus (Shuu).
• Also, they have a hissatsu together, Zero Magnum.

• They represent the opposite in some senses: They are Light and Shadow (Yin and Yang), Positive and Negative, Stillness and Movement*, and their colors are complementary because Hakuryuu has a yellow theme and Shuu has a purple theme.
