- In Episode 26, Tenma talks Matatagi out saying even if he's a bad person, he would take the real Matatagi as his friend and that made Matatagi's Dark Side successfully activated.
- In Episode 42, Matatagi calls out Tenma's name instead of 'Captain' for the first time and wanted to see Tenma's real soccer. Thanks to Matatagi, Tenma's Soul evolved and has a new hissatsu called Arashi Tatsumaki Hurricane.
